Privacy Policy

TradingVox is operated by EZPZ Trading LLC. This policy covers TradingVox specifically. Your TradingVox account is standalone from the rest of the EZPZ ecosystem, so this describes what TradingVox itself collects.

Last updated September 2026

TradingVox is an active build (see About). This policy reflects what the product actually does today, based on its real implementation, not a generic template. We'll update it as the product changes, not after.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and an optional display name. If you turn on two-factor authentication, the authenticator secret and your backup codes (stored hashed, so we can't read them back).
  • Voice preferences: your talkativity, response length, voice, Vox mode, and chart-target settings, plus the trader-type answer TradingVox asks for once so it can match its vocabulary to you.
  • Conversation transcripts: the text of what you and TradingVox say to each other during a voice session, tied to your account. Raw audio is not stored. Your microphone audio is streamed to the voice engine in real time for that session only and isn't saved afterward.
  • Technical data: standard web request logs (IP address, browser/device info) generated by using the site, and JWT session tokens stored in your browser's local storage (not on our servers).
  • Payment information: handled by Stripe, our payment processor, when you subscribe to a Vox package. We never see or store your card number. We keep your Stripe customer ID, which package you're on, its status, and your token usage so we know what you've paid for and how much of your allowance is left.
  • Integration links: whether you've paired Finn (the EZPZ TV Connector) or linked an EZPZ account, and the identifiers needed to keep those links working. Pairing is optional.

2. How we collect it

Directly from you (registration, settings, typed or spoken questions), and automatically as you use the service (session and transcript logging). We don't use third-party advertising trackers on this site.

3. Why we collect it

  • To provide the service: running voice sessions, remembering your preferences, showing you your own transcript history.
  • Account security: verifying your email, detecting unauthorized access, password resets.
  • Customer support, so we can actually help when you contact us about an issue.
  • Improving the product: understanding what's asked most, what fails, what's mocked versus real.

4. Third-party processing

Voice and text you send during a Live Mode session are processed by a third-party AI voice-processing provider in order to generate a response. That's the voice engine itself, not an optional add-on. That provider processes that data under its own terms as our data processor for this feature. We don't send your data to any other third party for AI processing.

5. Information sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with: service providers who help us run TradingVox (our AI voice-processing provider, Stripe for payments, hosting infrastructure), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition), in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data under the new owner.

6. Data retention

Account data and transcripts are retained while your account is active. Raw voice audio, as above, is never retained past the live session. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See "Your rights" below.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Sessions use short-lived JWT access tokens with longer-lived refresh tokens. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of any data you send us.

8. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support. There's no self-service delete button yet, so this goes through a real person rather than an automated flow. If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion.

TradingVox links to other pages in the EZPZ ecosystem and elsewhere. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don't operate.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll post an update here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of TradingVox after a change means you accept the update.
