Link Finn, then talk to your TradingView

Published

TradingVox does not drive tradingview.com by itself. When you want voice control of your desktop chart, the path is:

  1. You speak (or type) in TradingVox
  2. Vox relays the ask through Finn — the AI inside the EZPZ TV Connector desktop app
  3. Finn acts on your live TradingView Desktop session

That bridge is what Settings → Integration → TradingView / Finn turns on.

Linking is a short pairing code — not an SSO login to TradingView:

  1. In TradingVox Settings, open Integration and choose Link Finn
  2. A short-lived code appears in the browser
  3. Enter that code in the EZPZ TV Connector app (Settings → Link TradingVox)
  4. The desktop app stores a bridge token and connects over a private WebSocket

Status in Settings will show something like:

  • Linked ✓ — pair exists and the desktop app is connected
  • Linked — desktop app not open — pair exists, but Finn is offline until you open the Connector

Voice control of the desktop chart only works in the first case. Unlink is always available if you want to revoke the bridge.

Under Voice & Mode → Chart target, pick where unqualified chart commands should go:

  • TradingView Desktop — Vox uses Finn for your real tradingview.com session (the usual choice after linking)
  • Embedded (below) — Vox drives the chart widget on this site instead

The first successful Finn link typically defaults Chart target to TradingView Desktop so you do not have to hunt for the switch.

What you can say once it is connected

You do not pick a menu of Finn tools. You talk naturally — switch symbols, add indicators, draw levels, set alerts, replay a session — and Vox forwards the request to Finn as one turn. Finn decides how to drive TradingView.

Expect a short wait on denser asks (often around 15–20 seconds). Linking mid-conversation does not unlock Finn until you start a new voice session.

What this is not

  • TradingVox does not place trades or connect to your broker
  • Connecting Finn is free; live EZPZ market data flowing through Finn still follows your EZPZ AI / data access
  • The chart embedded on TradingVox is a different surface — see our post on site chart vs TradingView Desktop

When you are ready: open Settings → Integration, link Finn, leave Chart target on TradingView Desktop, start a conversation, and ask something you would normally click on the chart.

Ask it out loud

TradingVox speaks the data this post is about — live, from the EZPZ stack.
