TradingVox
Under Voice & Mode you will see two Vox mode cards (plus the everyday default when neither specialty mode is forced by your prefs):
- Mentor — “Educational coaching for developing traders”
- Trading Desk — “Pro live commentary for active market participants”
Both modes still see the same market-data stack and the same chart routing (embedded vs Finn). The difference is how Vox is allowed to reason — and one hard tool gate.
Mentor
Built to teach. It explains the why behind a read, and it can draw on the chart while it teaches. It will not hand you a live entry/stop package. If you ask for a concrete setup, it steers you to Trading Desk mode instead.
Trading Desk
Built to synthesize. It can call the trade-setup path for a real entry and invalidation style level (grounded in data, not a vibe), and it can offer to mark those levels on whichever chart target you selected.
What stays the same
- Options flow, dark pool, regime, Greeks, news — available in both
- Finn / embedded chart routing still follows Chart target
- Talkativeness, response length, and voice style are separate settings
How to use this in a real session
- Learn a concept in Mentor (“explain this GEX read and mark the wall”)
- Flip to Trading Desk when you want a setup-shaped answer
- Keep Chart target on TradingView Desktop if those marks should land on Finn’s chart
Switching modes is a Settings change that applies on the next voice session — same rule as Chart target and Finn link state.
